Community Mental Health Resources

It is imperative that you check with your insurance as a first step to securing a mental health provider (psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker,  behavioral health specialist or doctor of any kind).

Most insurances offer the ability to look up providers online. You can search “behavioral health providers.”  If a specific therapist or group is recommended to you, please always call the group and ask if they accept your insurance and what your co-pay will be. There may also be a limit to the amount of sessions that will be covered per year.

This list is in no way a recommendation or endorsement from the Port Jervis City School District.

This is simply a guide to the resources available in the area. Once again, it is always a good idea to start with a list of providers from your insurance or call a counseling professional or practice you are interested in to ensure they take your insurance and are accepting new patients.
