This course examines the principles, forms and scientific concepts of energy. It connects sustainability, conservation, and current green energy trends with the world’s energy consumption. It builds on students' knowledge of physical science concepts of energy and applies them to the current political, economic and environmental concerns of today. Through discussions and lab activities students are given an opportunity to explore, design and measure power output using a variety of energy forms. It will introduce career opportunities and up-andcoming energy related fields to encourage students to examine and evaluate future employment possibilities.
