Individual Arts Assessment Pathway (IAAP)

Starting in the 2024-25 school year, the Port Jervis CSD is eligible to award the Individual Arts Assessment Pathway (IAAP).  The implementation of the IAAP will increase students participating in Visual/Media Arts and Music while offering a 4+1 graduation pathway option that measures student attainment of the Learning Standards for the Arts. Students must complete a rigorous portfolio based local assessment driven by student interest and teachers’ content knowledge and expertise. This assessment provides Port Jervis high school students the opportunity to research, perform, and produce in their artistic platform while engaging authentically with their own artistry and creative ideas in a supportive and encouraging environment.
