This is the first two-thirds of the third course of the New York State Learning Standards for mathematics. The course extends the study of functions to include exponential, logarithmic, polynomial and trigonometric functions. The students will also work with sequences, series and probability. The students will complete the Algebra II course in January of the second year and take the Regents exam at that time. This course is designed for the student striving to attain an Advanced Regents diploma who might have difficulty with the pace of the one year course.
