PJ Schools is proud to announce that we have installed two new accessible AEDs at both of our concessions stands at Chase Field on the HS/MS campus and at Glennette Field behind EME.
With thousands of people at both locations during the many events held during the year, we believe it is very important for all to have access to these lifesaving devices for everyone's benefit.
At Chase Field, the AED is on the wall of the concession stand facing the baseball & softball fields. At Glennette, it is on the wall to the right of the serving lines.
Three points of safety and information:
- These are for emergency use only.
- When these AEDs are deployed for use, the device automatically dials 911 and takes a picture of the person using the device. There are also multiple surveillance cameras focused on these devices. This is for everyone's safety and a reminder that these devices should only be used in an emergency.
- Damaging or tampering with a publicly accessible Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a serious criminal offense and comes with severe penalties. Only use these life-saving devices in an emergency.
We share this information with you with a #PortPride spirit to make our community aware that these devices are available on our campuses. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact our Director of Building and Grounds, Mr. Justin Boesch, at jboesch@pjschools.org or 845-858-3100 x7501
