On March 7th, the Port Jervis and Deerpark Police Departments coordinated a K-9 drill at the 209 Complex. Canines with the Orange County Sheriff's Office, Port Jervis PD, Town of New Windsor PD, Yorktown PD, Town of Wallkill PD, Village of Monticello PD, and Port Jervis PD were all involved in the drill. The canine teams continued to train at various locations in the City of Port Jervis and the Town of Deerpark as part of their monthly training. The district thanks all of those involved in this successful drill and appreciates the effort to make Port Jervis a safer place.
