A Message From Your Principal

Dear Port Jervis Middle School Families,

I am thrilled and honored to be the Principal of Port Jervis Middle School for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Last year was a successful transition to the Route 209 campus and we have made many tweaks to ensure that this year is even better!

Our mission at Port Jervis Middle School is to be a safe school that promotes academic excellence and a sense of belonging for all. We strive to create a nurturing environment where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally through consistent practices in and out of the classroom.

Port Jervis Middle School has a dedicated staff that understands the unique challenges that middle schoolers face and we are here to support them and you during this time. We will help them develop strong character values and critical thinking skills while building relationships and having fun.

Throughout the school year, we will provide various opportunities for you to be involved in the school community. We recognize that building a strong support system and partnership with families will not only enhance the school experience, but ensures success for our students.
