National Junior Honor Society
Hello PJMS!
During the spring of 2023 eligible 7th and 8th graders will receive applications for the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS).
What is the National Junior Honor Society?
The NJHS is a nation-wide and very prestigious organization for middle school students. Members of the NJHS represent some of the most well-rounded students in our community.
We are looking for students who demonstrate:
- Leadership
- Citizenship
- Character
- Service
- Scholarship
NJHS members are involved in extracurricular activities like sports or clubs, perform community service and demonstrate leadership, respect and responsibility through their actions. These students represent the best of what PJMS has to offer.
What can I do to receive an invitation?
- Be a respectful and helpful member of each of the classes you are in
- Participate in your classes and hand in all of your assignments on time
- Become a member of different clubs and organizations if it is safe to do so
*To receive an invitation you must have a 90 overall average*
