Social Studies 7
In this course students will study American HISTORY from the 1st people to cross the land bridge to North America from Asia up to the end of the Civil War. Major units this year will include some current events, European exploration and colonization of North America, life in the colonies, steps toward revolution, The American Revolutionary War, The Constitution, War of 1812, Age of Jackson, lead up to the Civil War, Civil War and written interpretation of historical or current documents.
