Course Description: 

This course introduces students to the foundations of sociological thinking. Students will gain an understanding  of the major social theories, the relationship between culture and human behavior, and the process of socialization. Students will  apply theories to the analysis of important social structures such as social stratification. They will also use their sociological  competence to analyze current social issues. No Prerequisites.
