Dear Port Jervis Learning Community,
We have received confirmation that one of the teachers of the Port Jervis City School District has tested positive for COVID-19. This teacher is assigned to Port Jervis High School.
According to New York State Department of Health guidelines, there were no identified contacts in the school setting with the individual that tested positive.
Thank you for understanding that, due to medical privacy laws, we are not able to release the names of the individuals with COVID-19. We will continue to communicate changes and updates with you.
