Absentee ballots now accepted by mail through June 16

Per Governor Andrew Cuomo’s executive order, issued on June 8, hand-delivered absentee ballots can ONLY be accepted in person until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9. If you are hand delivering your ballot, it can be dropped off at any of the three locations.

Ballot boxes for in-person drop off will remain located at three locations in our district from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm each business day

  • Hamilton Bicentennial Elementary School  (Main entrance vestibule)
  • Buildings and Grounds Office (10 Route 209, Port Jervis, NY) 
  • District Office (9 Thompson Street, Port Jervis, NY)*

*Please note that the District Office will receive ballots until 5:00 pm on June 9, 2020.

Any ballots submitted after June 9 must be sent through the US mail. Please mail your absentee ballots  as soon as possible. Ballots will be accepted by the district by mail only until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16. Ballots received AFTER June 16 can not be counted in the school budget and board of education election vote.
