Get Ready For A Screen-Free Summer
Since 1887 Trail Blazers has been where children and teens go outside to grow within. Get ready for a safe, fun, and screen-free summer filled with swimming, biking, canoeing, and environmental science. After an adventure-filled day, your camper will gather around the campfire to bond with new friends and then fall asleep in a tent under the stars. Of course, there will be s'mores! Trail Blazers Overnight Camp is located in Montague, NJ; transportaion from Brooklyn, NY and Union Country, NJ included.

Mini Camp: An Intro for Young Campers
Mini Camp is a great option for children ages 8 - 10, who are new to overnight camp experiences. Campers will spend 6 nights exploring, learning, and making friends!
Hiking, Biking, and Canoeing Adventures: Exploration and Skill Building
The highlight of the summer is the Vagabond, a multi-day backpacking trek on the Appalachian Trail. At Biking and Canoeing Canoeing Camp, we Vagabond on forested bike trails or the Delaware River.
Farmstead: Farm-to-Fork Experiences
Campers ages 9-12 are invited to explore farm life, spending a few days at our partner, Stony Creek Farmstead, learning to harvest vegetables, tend to farm animals, and cook.
Leaders In Training: Discover Your Potential
Teens ages 15-16 build skills for camp and beyond: environmental stewardship, service, leadership, and personal growth. Of course, there will be hiking, biking, boating, and s'mores!
Direct Enrollment Fees and Scholarships
Trail Blazers is a 501c3 nonprofit and we work to ensure programs are finanicially-accessible. Fees are based on family income, with additional scholarships available for some programs. Pricing is all-inclusive. A 30% non-refundable deposit is required at registration to secure your camper's spot.
