Port Jervis Soap Box Derby

Think you’ve got what it takes to race? Our Soap Box Derby is open to all aspiring racers, ages 7-20, offering four divisions: Stock, Super Stock, Masters, and Super Kids. Whether you’re a first-time driver or a seasoned pro, there’s a spot for you on the track!

Important Dates:

  • April 1: Registration Deadline

  • Sunday, April 26: Mandatory Driver Meeting: 2 pm at Riverside Park

  • Sunday, May 17: Driver Practice 10 am – 2 pm

    • Rain Date Sunday, June 7

  • Saturday, June 13: Practice & Car Impound

    • Driver Practice: 1 pm-4 pm

    • Car Impound: 11 am-1 pm & 4 pm-5 pm

  • Sunday, June 14 RACE DAY!

    • Rain Date: TBD
