On February 26th, students at East Main Elementary attended a PAWsome assembly. Students were visited by some four-legged friends, Bleu and Kima, from Bleu's K9 Rescue. Bleu's K9 Rescue Inc is a non-profit animal rescue organization. They are 100% foster and volunteer-based throughout the Hudson Valley. The presentation taught students how to meet and greet a dog, what to do when encountering a loose dog, and how to be a responsible pet owner. Students absolutely loved learning and spending time with the pups! For more information about Bleu's K9 Rescue, visit their website.
