#supPORTtheArts
Our next Artist spotlights come from EME: Divinity Oliver, 3rd grade & Eduardo Dominguez, 2nd grade, led by EME Art teacher & Port grad Shannon Klotz.
Divinity's piece is a self-portrait with crayon & watercolors. She added the rainbows to make it look pretty and likes being creative and learning how to draw new things. She wants to thank her Mom, who always supports her, her Dad, who inspires her, and her Stepmom, who teaches her how to paint and be creative. Divinity would like to be an artist when she grows up.
Eduardo's piece is Mittens Holding a Pop-Up Snowball, made with paint and paper. He liked making the snowflakes and likes tigers, which is why he added yellow and orange. He wanted to shout out his friend Damien & wants to be an engineer when he grows up.
Congrats to Divinity & Eduardo and their families. Thank you to Ms. Klotz and the art department for their work supPORTing the arts. #GoPORT
