3D Owl
by Michael Zuccarelli, 3rd Grade.
Materials: Drawing materials, owl design, colored paper, and glue.
3rd-grade students created "Pop Up Pets" by coloring the worksheet of their choice using patterns of shapes and lines, then assembling pieces on colored paper and attaching small paper boxes behind select pieces for the animal to pop out of the picture.
Patterned Landscape

Materials: Pencils and Sharpies.
5th-grade students learned about landscapes and Zentangle designs, then drew landscapes of their own, like creating their own coloring page! Rather than adding washes of color, they used patterns to create designs filling their landscape!
