It is with great pleasure that we announce that for the third year in a row, HBE and ASK will be participating in our Reading Together Initiative! This is the third book that both schools are reading together at the same time. The book the committee selected this year is The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. In this book the main character, a robot named Roz, is shipwrecked on an island. Roz has to adapt to the island and the animals that live on the island. Both schools and families read the same chapters each week and participate in some special activities at the same time. We are looking forward to this book and bringing our two elementary schools together once again!
