You can tell spring has sprung in A.S.K. by listening for some cheep-cheeps and quack-quacks in the Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd-grade hallways! Before the chicks & ducklings hatch, students learn all about how the incubator works, what happens in the eggs day by day during the incubation period & the life cycle! After waiting 21 days for the chicks & 28 days for the ducklings to hatch, students are able to hold them. After getting some school experience, the chicks & ducklings head off to the farm. A special thanks to Tractor Supply & the Port Jervis Education Foundation for the donation of incubators to make this happen!
