The 4th grade students at ASK created models of the human brain as part of their Science unit. The students used clay to model important parts of the brain such as the Frontal Lobe, Temporal Lobe, Parietal Lobe, Occipital Lobe, Cerebellum, and the Brain Stem. Within this unit on the Human Brain, the students learned about how our brain processes information and how our Central Nervous System operates within our bodies. The students also explored their senses and how their nervous system receives and sends messages about these senses throughout their bodies.
