ASK: The Runaway Pumpkin

Mrs. Niosi’s 4th grade class at A.S.K. really enjoyed reading “The Runaway Pumpkin” and learning about building ramps. After drawing blueprints for their ramps, they worked in pairs and used classroom materials such as notebooks, textbooks, and rulers to create and construct a ramp that could roll their pumpkins. They used trial and error to build and rebuild to see which ramp would roll the pumpkin the furthest!
