D.A.R.E. Graduation 2018

Students Learn the Power of Good Decision Making

D.A.R.E. May 29th, 2018-  ASK, Port Jervis, NY - With family in the audience, fifth graders from ASK School took to the stage and received certificates upon graduating from the D.A.R.E. Program.

D.A.R.E. is a comprehensive program designed to teach students good decision-making skills to help them lead safe and healthy lives. Students are taught the positive aspects of respecting others, choosing to lead lives free from violence, substance abuse, and other dangerous behaviors.

Port Jervis Police Officer Nicole McGowan teaches the D.A.R.E. program at ASK. McGowan spoke to the students at their graduation about continuing the valuable lessons learned in the program. Each student was given a certificate and a pin.
