Course Description:
Honors Algebra 2 is designed for the accelerated student or students with exceptional mathematical aptitude.This course will enrich the Algebra 2 Regents curriculum. Each unit will be studied in greater depth and offer students the opportunity to spend time exploring challenging problems. Students will take the Algebra 2 Regents exam at the conclusion of the course.
Additional Coursework: Students will create their own Regents questions for each Unit.
Log project based on experimental data. Students will complete a project using logarithms, regressions and equations. Prerequisite: Geometry course - 88 or higher, Geometry Regents Exam - 80 or higher
