Ted Schultz, Class of 1978

Ted Schultz graduated Port Jervis High School in 1978 with the “energy” to be a great success. His post-secondary schooling includes a BS from SUNY Albany and his MBA from Syracuse University. Schultz’s career in the energy sector has seen him rise from information supervisor to Senior Vice President of ECOVA, a multi-million dollar energy and sustainability management company. He began his career at NYSEG, Binghamton, NY working his way to the title of Director of Applications and Advanced Technologies. From there Schultz went onto DUKE Energy, working for 13 years in the marketing and efficiency side of the business. He successfully launched an energy service business, earned top rankings, and pioneered an innovative business model that turned energy efficiency into a profitable investment. At EVOCA, Schultz has led a team as Vice President of Utility Solutions. He recently formed his own energy consulting company to help accelerate the adoption of new utility business models and technologies. Schultz lives in Charlotte, NC.
