Calvin De Mond, Class of 1973

Calvin was one of the original “Audio-Visual Club kids” in high school and has gone on to an illustrious career in media and television. He attended O.C.C.C. and New York Institute of Technology where he studied radio, television and film production. After graduation, ABC television recruited him as a video technician. After expanding his portfolio to include commercials, news, sports and films, Calvin returned to the New York television market working for the Wall Street Journal Report, WWOR channel 9 and then WABC Channel 7 Eyewitness News in 1997, where he continues to work. He has received several EMMY awards and nominations for his work as a news photographer, video editor and broadcast satellite engineer.
