Seven get the call to the Hall

Port Jervis High School Inducts seven into Alumni Hall of Fame

October 12, 2014 - The Port Jervis High School Alumni Hall of Fame was formed six years ago to recognize the achievement notable Port Jervis graduates.  Each fall a new group of alumni are inducted into the Hall.  This year saw seven esteemed gradutes enter the hall.

On Sunday October 12th, friends and family gathered at the Erie Trackside to celebrate seven individuals who were elected to the Port Jervis High School Alumni Hall of Fame. With graduation dates spanning five decades, members of the class of '14 have impressive life stories and experiences.

Each inductee was honored with an introduction by a close friend or family member.  Though their stories varied, several themes were common in each presentation.  Community, faculty, friends, and family were the focus of the speeches.  Presenters told of the bond felt here in Port Jervis.  The lists of success and personal highlights were many, but the connection to Port Jervis was the highlight of the evening.
