NYSPHSAA (New York State Public High School Athletic Association) recognizes student athletes who achieve excellence in the classroom. This year ALL of Port Jervis' Varsity teams were recognized with the Team Scholar-Athlete Award. The teams, Varsity Girls Tennis, Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country, Varsity Boys and Girls Soccer, Varsity Football, and Varsity Cheerleading will receive a certificate from the school and each student-athlete with a GPA of 90 or higher will receive a pin. Additionally Port had three teams where every athlete on the team qualified. The Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country and Varsity Girls Soccer teams have 100% of their athletes with a GPA of 90 or higher. Congratulations to all our scholar athletes.
