Dear Port Jervis Learning Community,
It is with a heavy heart that we have been informed that a member of the Port Jervis High School Class of 2021, Shawn Bowers, passed away as a result of a tragic automobile accident.
There are no words to adequately express the sorrow that comes from such a tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his extensive family, friends, and loved ones.
The Port Jervis High School Crisis Team will continue to be available to provide support for our learning community. In addition to the counseling services that are available in our school district, the Orange County Crisis Call Center is available by dialing 311 or 1-800-832-1200.
