PJHS: County Wide Steering Committee

The PJHS Youth in Government Club recently traveled to Marlboro to participate in the County Wide Steering Committee. This event is a mock election convention and primary for the two Youth in Government parties. Port Jervis was successful in getting 3 candidates nominated as their party's candidate for the general election. Each one of these students had to prepare and deliver a speech and gain a majority of votes among the delegates present. Please help us to congratulate: Landon Papertsian who secured the nomination for the People's Party State Senator, Ellis Startup who secured the nomination for the People's Party Congressional Representative, and Noemie Florant who secured the nomination for Governor from the Citizen's party.
