The Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) and our community partners from Catholic Charities and the American Lung Association/POW’R Against Tobacco shared information with PJHS students on October 13th which was Seen Enough Tobacco Day. Students were given information about the dangers of vaping and smoking as well as the addictive nature of nicotine. This was the sixth annual “Seen Enough Tobacco Day” and the goal of this initiative is to raise awareness about the impact of deceptive marketing and how tobacco promotions overwhelmingly target youth and minorities.
