Course Description: 

This course expands on the foundational work from Painting one and two and introducing more advanced three dimensional works. Students will be guided to develop a personal style within their work. Experimentation will be encouraged with mixed media, and further study pieces in figure, landscape, still life, surrealism, and abstract works. Students will have readings, oral and written critiques, and art history references. NOTE: Sketchbooks will be required. Digital Portfolio will be kept at the discretion of the teacher. Prerequisites: Introduction to Art, Painting 1, & Painting 2
