Course Description: 

This course was designed to provide students with a solid foundation of information and opportunity to learn through hands-on projects in the areas of career selection, employee rights and responsibilities, employer expectations, personal decision making, written and verbal communication skills, career exploration, and money management (bank accounts, check writing/ debit and checkbook reconciliation,what is credit, how to establish good credit, creating and using a budget, when and what is an investment, when to invest and when to save,their rights and responsibilities as a consumer). Students will be encouraged to develop a career path using career exploration,apply academic skills to solve real-world problems and become familiar with universal foundation skills that are needed to become successful citizens,employers, and employees.  No Prerequisite.
