Course Description:
The third course of the New York State Learning Standards for mathematics is offered with a lab every other day. The course extends the study of functions to include exponential, logarithmic, polynomial and trigonometric functions. The students will also work with sequences, series and probability. The students will take the Regents exam in June. This course is designed for the student striving to attain an Advanced Regents diploma who might have difficulty with the pace and rigor of the traditional course. The course counts towards the three required math courses for NYS graduation.
