Jason Kahmar, President
Jason Kahmar is serving his second term. He is currently employed by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office as a Law Enforcement/Corrections Officer. Jason and his wife, Danielle, have two children who are enrolled in the Port Jervis City School District. Jason volunteered his time as a Port Jervis Football League coach for 5 years. He has also worked as an assistant coach for Port Jervis Middle School Modified Football for 1 year.

William Harris, Vice President
William (Bill) A. Harris is serving his second term. He is currently self-employed as the owner/operator of Chef on the Run Catering LLC. Bill was previously employed by Port Jervis City School District as the cook manager for the PJMS (2011-2019). During this time he also served as the Food Service Coordinator (2019-2020). Bill served as the Assistant Director (2011-2016) and the Advisor (2017-2018) of the PJMS Drama club, where he still serves as a member of the production team. Bill is also the vocal director for the HBE Drama club. He is a 15 year member of the Port Jervis Elks.Bill is also an active member and secretary of the Orange County School Board Association, and serves on the District Leadership Team.

Judith Amato, Member
Judith (Judy) Amato is serving her 4th term as a Port Jervis City School District Board Member. She has served three full terms (2014-2017, 2017-2020, 2020-2023) and a partial term as the Board President (2017-2018). Judy is a Port Jervis alumni who graduated in 1981. Judy is a Registered Dental Hygienist who owns and operates Dental Power Staffing Agency. She has served on the Board for the Port Jervis Youth Football league and The American Youth Football Association. As a Coach, she organized and held the first youth NCA cheerleading camp. As a Dental Health Advocate, she provided Dental Health Instruction to both the Port Jervis Elementary children and the Delaware Valley Elementary children for over 25 years. Judy is also a member of the Mt. Carmel Society. Judy and her husband Joe have 6 children and 6 grandchildren. It is her honor to serve on the Port Jervis School Board to help improve the School for our Community.

Joseph Andriac, Member
Joseph Andriac is serving his first term. He is currently employed by Unilever as an Associate Director of Research and Development. Joseph and his wife, Nichole, have two children who currently attend Port Jervis City School District. Joseph graduated from Port Jervis High School in 1999. He has volunteered his time as an Assistant Coach for the Port Jervis Youth Football League for 4 years; was head coach for Port Jervis Little League for one year, and was Assistant Coach for Port Jervis Little League for three years.

Nancy Dunn, Member
Nancy Dunn is serving her first full term as a Port Jervis School District Board Member. In 2021, she was elected to finish a partial term. Nancy and her husband Henry raised three children in the Port Jervis community, and all three graduated from Port Jervis High School (2001, 2004, 2015). Nancy has been a member of the PTA (1988-2010), Odyssey of the Mind Coach (1997 - State Champion, World Finalist), Pop Warner Cheerleading Coach for four years, Co-Advisor to the Class of 2015, and a volunteer for PJHS musical productions (2001-2002) as well as volunteering in various capacities in the Port Jervis community. Nancy is a retired Registered School Nurse from the Port Jervis City School District, having worked in various leadership roles in the health care sector, adding valuable insight into the health and safety standards for our students and our school District.

Marc Greene, Member
Marc Greene is serving his first term on the Port Jervis Board of Education. With over 34 years of experience in investor relations and corporate communications, Marc is the Managing Director of the Markets Intelligence Group at Okapi Partners. He specializes in advising on ownership trends and their impact on valuation and strategic planning. Marc holds an MBA in Finance from NYU's Stern School of Business and a BS from Northeastern University. Marc, PJHS Class of ‘84 and his wife Cheryl, PJHS Class of ‘88 are life-long members of the Port Jervis community and are proud parents of daughters Taylor, PJHS Class of ‘15 and Isabella, PJHS Class of ‘19. Marc is the President of the Marian Cooper Community Foundation and the Port Jervis Education Foundation as well as an active volunteer for the Port Jervis Soap Box Derby and the New Jersey Special Olympics.

Catherine Sadaghiani, Member
Cathy is currently serving her 17th year on the Board of Education. Her previous service included terms from 2000-2013 and 2015-2018, during which she served as Vice President for 11 of those years and 1 year as President (2012-2013). She is a retired RN, originally from New York City. Cathy and her husband, Dr. Hassan, moved here from Iran in 1980, after living through the Iranian Revolution and the taking of the American hostages over there. They bought a house in Port Jervis in 1982, where they raised their two children, who both went through and graduated from the Port Jervis District. Through the years she has participated in several district committees: current member of the Board Policy Committee (2000-present), Board’s Education Committee for 2 years; DLT (District Leadership Team) member since its inception in 2003; on the original MS BEPT Committee; on the original GATE (Gifted and Talented Education); and on the original CDEP (Comprehensive District Education Plan). While her children were in school, Cathy was also an Odyssey of the Mind Assistant Coach for 1 year; PTA Member for 13 years; served as PTA President at ASK, MS and HS and volunteered her time in Elementary classrooms for 13 years.

Donald Santiago, Member
Don was appointed to the board as a replacement for Bill Onofry in October of 2024. He graduated from Port Jervis High School in 1992. He and his wife, Becky, have two young daughters enrolled in the district. He is a chief of the residential program at The Center for Discovery and he and his wife, Becky have both worked there for over 20 years. He has been heavily involved in Port Jervis Little League, first as an assistant coach, then as a head coach for the past 5 years and hopefully many more to come!

Michael Witt is serving his first full term. He served a partial term on the board (May 2023 - May 2024) fulfilling the final year of Deborah Lasch’s term. He is currently employed as an Insurance Agent for MBIA, LLC. He is currently the Esteemed Loyal Knight at the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Port Jervis Lodge # 645. He is currently the PJHS PTSA Vice-President and has previously served on various PTA’s when he resided in Westchester County. Michael and his wife, Michele, have two children. Alyssa is a Freshman at SUNY Delhi and Dylan is a senior at Port Jervis High School.
