Physical Examination Requirements

Varsity & JV Winter Sports (high school grade 9–12) are scheduled to begin on Monday, November 14, 2022.  Modified Sports (middle school grade 7 & 8) are scheduled to begin on Monday, November 21, 2022.

Students wanting to participate in athletics during the 2022-2023 school year must have an up-to-date physical. The physical examination for qualifying a student's participation in interscholastic athletics is valid for a period of 12 continuous months - through the last day of the month in which the exam was conducted; and through the entire sports season, even if the exam's expiration is before the season is completed.  Therefore, a student must have a valid physical examination dated November 1, 2021 or later, in order to participate in Winter Varsity, JV or Modified Sports.  Before participation in each athletic season, all parents must complete an interval health history for athletics, unless a physical exam has been completed within 30 days before the start of the season.  This interval health history is part of the registration process on Family ID.

If your child needs a current physical to participate in winter sports, our school physician, Dr. Little, will be doing physicals for varsity, JV & Modified sports in the high/middle school nurses’ office on Thursday, November 10th from 7:30 – 9:00 A.M.

For questions regarding physicals/physical dates currently in our school district files, please contact one of our School Nurses:
