PJMS: Unbroken

In Ms. Kronimus' 8th grade Honors ELA class, students are reading Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. To enhance their understanding of Louie Zamperini's incredible experience after being shot down over the Pacific Ocean during World War 2, students sat in 2' x 6' "life rafts" to complete their work. They were asked to imagine being in such a small space, not for 40 minutes, but for over 40 days. The students had fun trying to figure out the best configuration to make themselves comfortable for their life raft journey.
