Students in Mrs. Corcoran's 10th grade Honors English class recently completed an independent reading project and held a gallery walk to present their work. Each student chose a book to read based on their interests and was tasked with creating an illustration of the book's major themes, characters, central ideas, and quotes in a way that brought to life the students' personality and passion and displayed a deep understanding of the novel. Students chose to create videos, board games, posters, video displays, artwork, puzzles, journals, and all other types of things to bring their book to life. The project culminated with a gallery walk where the students interacted with the projects and their peers to gain a better understanding of the books read.
