Dear Parents, Guardians and PJHS Students:
We are excited to be welcoming everyone back for the start of the 2023-2024 school year. We are eager to welcome our Class of 2027 into our learning community and excited for our Class of 2024 to lead our student body. This school year brings with it expanded course offerings, new challenges, and new opportunities for growth.
School begins on Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at 7:25am. Students will report to their homerooms prior to first period to receive their schedule. Please find the homeroom lists enclosed.
Please note- Orange-Ulster BOCES CTEC students:
CTEC starts Tuesday, September 5th. We will be bussing from the high school to CTEC.
The AM bus times- Bus Loads at the high school: 7:15am, returns to PJHS: 11:15am
The PM bus times- Bus Loads at the high school: 11:30am, returns to PJHS: 3:45pm
Student safety, student learning, academic success, and Port Pride remain in the forefront of everything we do. As we prepare for the 2023-24 school year, we remind our students to put their best foot forward:

- Be Respectful! Respect yourself, your classmates, your teachers, and your community.
- Be Involved! Engage and participate in school activities.
Please note that report cards and progress reports will not be mailed home. You can use the SchoolTool link found on the Parent Resources page of our district website to access student grades, attendance, progress reports and report cards. Please contact the guidance office at ext. 1601 if you need an account or are having difficulty logging in. The school-home connection is critical for student success. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns.
