PJHS: Mental Health Awareness Month Visitors

At PJHS, we are incredibly grateful for our community partners who support our students in so many meaningful ways. During May, recognized as Mental Health Awareness Month, we were pleased to welcome representatives from the Orange County Department of Mental Health, Port Jervis Clinic, and the Mental Health Association in Orange County, Inc.

During their outreach visits, they shared valuable resources and information related to Text 4 Teens, Sexual Assault Prevention Advocacy, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, and other supportive agency programs. They also distributed a variety of fidget tools to encourage healthy coping strategies and promote student wellness.

They connected directly with students, helping to raise awareness and ensure that our students understand where and how to access support when needed.
