On Thursday, April 23rd, Orange Ulster BOCES hosted the 2026 County-Wide Humanities Awards Breakfast at the Otterkill Country Club. Each district in the OUBOCES area chose two Juniors for the award based on outstanding excellence in the humanities and the arts. Port Jervis' honorees were Jamel Little for drama and vocal music and Audrey Shannon for visual arts, dance, and drama. Jamel and Audrey were accompanied to breakfast by their parents, High School Principal Mr. Lazzaro, Asst. Superintendent for Instruction, Dr. Walkowicz, HS Art Department Chair Eleanor Horst, and HS Librarian Lisa Perkowski, who represented the Drama Club. Congratulations to Jamel and Audrey on all your accomplishments!
