Three PJHS musicians participated in the 33rd annual Susquehanna University Honor Band Festival the weekend of February 13-15th. They auditioned and were selected to perform in the top band, the Honors Wind Ensemble. This ensemble performed under the direction of Susquehanna’s Music Department Chair and Director of Bands, Dr. Eric Hinton. Congratulations on a superb performance to, Shawn Jiang on trombone, Victoria Cross on the alto saxophone, and Thomas Andriac on clarinet. Continued thanks to the high school band director, Mrs. Dana Long, for providing our students with these opportunities to participate in music festivals all over our region. Port Jervis is proud of our music students' continued hard work and dedication to their artistic passions.
