The Port Jervis High School Character Education Committee would like to recognize the following students and staff who demonstrated outstanding character during the month of November. Way to go PJHS!
For courage, Javier Colon was recognized by the committee.
Recognized for having empathy was Aamiyah Owens, Crystine Hurst, Mrs. Mark, Yara Shihada and for forgiveness, Crystine Hurst.
Lots of people were recognized for being good friends -- Aliyah Comfort Reid, Avery Spears, Camila Juarez, Christopher Thomas, Davonte Griffith, Elias Wright, Emilie Sweeney, Ethan McBride, Gianna DiGiantommaso, Jay Pichardo, Jordyn Belice, Justin Dessasure, Kalab Mullins, Lailah Juarez, Lilli Decker, Mr. Koval, Mrs. Schields, Myla Skellett, Naomi Byrd, Nathaniel Keys, Neve Acoveno, Olivia Miller-Coerts, Rose Mandelbaum, and Thomas Andriac.
November was the month for having gratitude and the following students and staff were recognized for displaying that trait -- Cris Zelaya, Isaac Diaz, Jahsair McCline, Mrs. Piscitelli, and Treyvon Gill.
Donald Kennedy and Joseph Alvarez were nominated and recognized for being honest, and Elizabeth Weber Perez, Korbyn Padin, Leah Lisberg, Skylar Lenna for being mindful.
And finally for showing perseverance, Antonii Yasinovskyy, and William Guellich received recognition while Jate Darnobid, Lana Mason, Lauren Kuras, Maria Williams, Samantha Cross, and William Samuel Lloyd all got the nod for being responsible.
