Recently, members of the Port Jervis Youth Coalition (PJYC) recognized World Kindness Day by spreading positivity and cheer. Members randomly pinned clothespins decorated with special uplifting messages onto classmates. Additionally, each pin had a heart attached to it from the Peyton Heart Project. The Peyton Heart Project's mission is to raise awareness about suicide, bullying, and to help end the stigma surrounding mental health issues. The unique crochet hearts themselves had a tag with an uplifting message and resource information.
