PJHS Sophomore Julian Cintron has been named to Senator Skoufis' Youth Advisory Council. This opportunity is hosted by his State Senate office in the Hudson Valley.
The Youth Advisory Council serves as a forum for students to learn about priorities, operations, and issues in state and local government. As a member, Julian will interact with other chosen students from the Senator's district and will engage in rigorous discussions about issues of importance in the state and region, as well as meet with local and statewide officials. The Council will have the opportunity to share legislative ideas with Senator Skoufis and ask questions about topics ranging from local issues to statewide matters.
