Congratulations to the PJHS Symphonic Band members who were selected to participate in the Marywood University Senior Wind Band Celebration, held at Marywood University on January 31st & February 1st.
Preparation for the seating placement auditions included an etude excerpt and scales. There were approximately 170 band students from 23 different schools. The Honor Band and Celebration Band rehearsed Friday and Saturday, concluding the festival with a concert Saturday evening.
The Honor Band performed under the direction of Dr. David Kish who serves as the Director of Bands and Professor of Music at Metropolitan State University of Denver.

The Celebration Band performed under the direction of Dr. Scott Corely from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee's Peck School of the Arts.
