PJHS: 2025 NMSP Commended Student

Port Jervis High School is proud to announce that Senior Bradley Riehl has been named a Commended Student in the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. This year, approximately 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.

In a letter to HS Principal Lazzaro, the committee noted, "those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success and these students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation.”

While not eligible for a National Merit Scholarship, this honor is a testament to Bradley's academic achievement and pursuits while a student here at Port Jervis High School and we celebrate his success!
