The PJHS Guidance Department is proud to announce the May recipients of our Character Education Recognition Program. We would like to congratulate them ALL on showing good character. The trait for May was responsibility but individuals can be nominated for any trait at any time.
Kandice Hernandez, Dorien Belice, Brielle Rene, and Mrs. Mendola were nominated for courage, and Mrs. Sorensen and Mrs. Kahmar for gratitude.
Many students and staff were nominated for showing friendship: Abigail Tigue, Jeannette Fountain, Addison McElroy, Mrs. Bloodgood, Kayden Moore, Anthony Kulbaba, Sariyah Lebron, Santiago Larzabal Leivas, Stephanie Miranda, Jesus Trujillo Santiago, Mrs. Gunderman, Mrs. Hoverstock, Mr. Dunleavy, Mr. Somarelli, Mrs. Hyziak, Anna Figueroa, and Crystian Hurst.
Ms. Weed and Hunter Colville were recognized for perseverance. Mrs. Sorensen, Antonio Berdecia, Nurse Weinick, Mr. Barila, and Mrs. Costello were recognized for respect.
Finally, recognized for the trait of the month which was responsibility, were Mrs. Lefberg, Bella Cartagena, Mr. Burke, Brayden Simonson, Amber Blas, Jonathan Barnes, Miley Hutchinson, Dawson Keuntje, Anna Figueroa, and Yacine Niasse.
