The PJHS Health Education classes recently hosted Sgt. Alonzo Montanya from the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, and Mr. Chris Jolicoeur. Their “Bridging Connections” mental health talk focused on real-life experiences with mental health struggles, suicidality, and the importance of seeking support and making connections to helpers. Important mental health resources were shared with students and the message of hope was highlighted.
