PJHS: January's Good Character Recipients

The PJHS Guidance Department is proud to announce the January recipients of our Character Education Recognition Program. We would like to congratulate them ALL on showing good character. The trait for January was forgiveness, but individuals can be nominated for any trait at any time. 

For courage, Kylee Parisi, David White, Jeylee Olaverria, and Emily Medina Tinoco. 

For being responsible, we congratulate Anthony Decker, Olivia Miller-Coerts,  Brianna LiCausi, Anthony Theodore, Mrs. Sorensen, Cole Oostwegel, Mr. Hossann, Mr. Ferguson, Mr. Foley, Mrs. Stankunas, Mr. Hyziak, and Mr. Koval. 

For showing friendship, Madame Bransfield, Julie Zolotar, Alexa Bennett, Jaren Rodriguez, Shanade Leak, Diyanah Mursalin, and Gabriel Torres.

Brian Lynn was recognized for gratitude.

Jackson Brunell was recognized for honesty. 

For showing the character trait of the month with forgiveness, we recognized Tyler Emerson, Vincenzo Sorino, Cieanna Oppelt, Jonathyn Lopez, Ms. Diaz, and Mrs. Koenig. 

Showing mindfulness allowed us to recognize Mr. Stellato, Dr. Marr, and Ms. Hawkins.

Mr. Somarelli and Mrs. Lane received congratulations for perseverance and Grant Markle, Mrs. Hoverstock, Mrs. Gunderman, Mrs. Croan, Evan Jones, Killian Case, Mrs. Nyland, and Dr. Marr were congratulated for being empathetic.

And finally, recognized for respect were Anthony Jacobsen and Mr.Burke.

We congratulate them all and move into February, with the character trait of respect. Students are reminded to wear orange on Wednesdays in February as a reminder of this trait.
