PJHS: December's Good Character Nominees

The PJHS Guidance Department is proud to announce the December recipients of our Character Education recognition program. While not everyone is in the photo, we would like to congratulate them ALL on showing good character.

The trait for December was courage, but individuals can be nominated for any trait at any time. Staff and students can be nominated by fellow staff/students via a simple Google form; everyone recognized in December received a voucher good for a slice of pizza or $2 in credit at the school store.

For courage, Audrey Shannon and Ann Smith. For empathy, we recognized Gabrielle Cefalo and Mr. Simmons. For showing friendship, Gabrielle Cefalo, Elleanna Sotelo, Jaida Howell, Daniel Benson, and Elia Trujillo Castillo. William Pasquale, Cieanna Oppelt, and Mrs. Maloney were recognized for gratitude. Jackson Brunell was recognized for honesty. Showing mindfulness allowed us to recognize Mrs. Helms, Ms. Maloney, Ms. Dorritie, Ms. Antalek, and Mrs. Jenkins. Yara Shihada and Michelle Gimena received congratulations for perseverance. Recognized for respect were Mrs. Weinick, Mrs. Lefberg, Constentino Proscia, and Aniya Vazquez Hernandez. And lastly, we recognized Bella Cartagena for responsibility. We congratulate them all and move into January, with the character trait of forgiveness.
